What is an AVGS voucher?
An AVGS voucher (activation and placement voucher) is a grant from the employment agency and the job center. The voucher enables you to take part in coaching or further training completely free of charge, always with the aim of improving your chances on the job market.
Who gets an AVGS?
You will receive an AVGS voucher if you:
- are unemployed or looking for work
- are threatened by unemployment (e.g. you have already been dismissed or have a fixed-term contract), start-ups
- The measure increases your chances of gaining a foothold in the job market
What costs will I incur?
That’s the great thing – none! If you have been granted an AVGS voucher, you can complete the course, e.g. our German course with career coaching, completely free of charge.
Can I redeem my AVGS voucher for the online German course?
Yes, you can. We are certified by DEKRA in accordance with AZAV, which means that you can complete the German course with us free of charge. You can find out more about us as a company on our About Us page here.
Do I choose the measure myself?
Exactly. Please make sure that the provider you want to do the training or coaching with is also certified according to AZAV. That’s why you’ve come to the right place. We have been AZAV-certified for over 5 years and help people gain a foothold in the job market.
What should I bear in mind during the consultation with the employment agency?
It makes sense to go into the interview with the case worker well prepared. On the one hand, this shows that you have already dealt with the topic of the AVGS voucher and, on the other hand, it also shows the case worker that you are motivated. Explain to the case worker why you can improve your chances on the job market with the coaching or, for example, break down language barriers and gain self-confidence with our German course.
